The SOS Puffin Project

SOS Puffin is the Scottish Seabird Centre's award-winning project to save the puffins on the islands near North Berwick. Run and supported entirely by a team of more than 1,300 volunteers, over 330 work parties have made regular trips to Craigleith, Fidra and the Lamb over the last 16 years.

Restoration Forth

The Scottish Seabird Centre is delighted to be part of Restoration Forth, a partnership conservation project that's working with communities to restore native oysters and seagrass meadows in the Firth of Forth. Find out more about the project and our role as a community hub.

WDC Shorewatch Site: North Berwick

We’re excited to be supporting a brand new Whale and Dolphin Conservation Shorewatch site in North Berwick! WDC Shorewatch is a network of volunteers trained to monitor whales and dolphins at sites around the Scottish coastline, raising awareness and capturing vital data to protect these amazing species.

Community Clean Up Hub

We’re excited to partner with Keep Scotland Beautiful to launch a brand new Community Clean-up Hub at the Scottish Seabird Centre! We want to try and make sure that anyone who wants to help people and wildlife by cleaning up the coastline can access the kit that they need.
